A very nice idea and tutorial. I know some people have already taken advantage of this, like those so-called internet marketers. Still, that's a good idea, though.

a very good tutorial, thanks for sharing it with us.
but unfortunely some free web hosting didn't support custom-404 pages.
like 110mb.com, however their had upgraded to clustered server 99.9% uptime.

I found this section particularly useful.

What should my 404 page look like?
It is very important to inform your users not to panic. Everything here is nice and fine.

And one more point to add, I've seen few PHP-MySQL based sites which generate rather odd warning messages like "fail to open....", or "Connection failed..". Your guidelines for handling error is applicable to those sites also.

Not a bad article, I will have to try it out. Sounds like 404 pages can actually be used to your advantage!

Default I'm interested to study web-design

I'm a student and interested to study web-design, and the overall expenses is more $10000 including all my personal expenses. Is this much money worth spending for web-designing? Is there any free course, am confused.
