I looked into something like this when I first set up. The bottom line according to the accountant I spoke to then, is that if you're drawing money in the UK, you're subject to some form of tax.

the better offshore banking jurisdiction are st vincent & grenadines, belize, Latvia, Cyprus and Malta

If you need an offshore bank account I think either Lloyds TSB or Natwest offer an international banking service - so you can transact business abroad as well as at home. Worth looking into anyway.
