frames are not at all good to use as the visitors want a site that looks professional and has a easy navigation control

I would say that frames lend themselves perfectly to both professional looks and easy navigation.

The problem seems to be with the way search engines handle the pages, not with design deficiencies.

Although you could also argue that if SEO is a factor, then designing in such a way that works against SEO is bad design. Design doesn't exist in a vacuum.

LOL
Funny, because that's what I was saying on the design/development thread. Hard to weed them apart.

But responding specifically to the questions of navigation and looks...it's hard to fault frames. Their drawbacks apparently lie in other areas.

Sorry, but that's bollocks. You can have whatever programs you like, they won't do you the slightest good unless you know what you're doing with them. There's thousands of people out there who can and do create crap with either or both programs.

Neither of those sites did much for me. They look busy, with all these little boxes jumbled around. The blue flood of the first one could look good to some, awful to others.

Linkdup: I like the blue and the typeface, but I would have used the horizontal width more efficiently maybe make one of the block liquid perhaps.

Its very nice tho
