Duh, I think you'll find very people who have never had a computer infected with a virus, especially if they're windows users. It's simply not possible if you use the internet frequently. If you meet such people, it's usually because their virus scan missed the virus or they have no virus scan at all.

It has been infected with virus so many times, I really did not bother much for it until recently when I'm more serious about my online careers. It damaged by HDD, some times odd files have been corrupted, lastly all my bookmarks are gone only a week ago.

Thumbs up Re: Has your comp ever infected by a virus?

When I can't find the solution online or remove it in safe mode, I use system restore and just set my computer back a few days, as long as it's the day before you got the virus.

If you have a legal version of Windows you can download a program called Microsoft AntiSpyware for free. Just type it in a search engine, it works really well and when it can't remove it for you, it has a one click system restore option.

I got infected by this virus Trojan and worms and I could not recover my files. What I do is re format the hard disk and it takes a lot of effort. For now I used anti virus and update it all the time.
