No. I had a mate marry someone he met online, after meeting her twice. It turns out she was an "escort" by night, and had a rather nasty coke ahbit. They divoced, but he lost EVERYTHING. I had a "girl" from Australia decide to come and see me in South africa, not that I wanted her to, and was told by others in the chat room that it was actually a guy and he was seriously unhinged. Even though he did make the 6000km journey, I kept out the chat rooms and didn't see him. I know of several stories just like this. It's easy to maintain a positive online persona. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I assure you, it's sound advice.
I'm sure you'll not follow it, since you're quite taken with the chap, so good luck with that. |

I heard many stories about people marrying after knowing themselves over the internet, in my opinion thios is possible but they have to know for much time before thy marry, else the marriage will be a total disaster.

Some relationship works in the internet. I know a friend who met his husband on the net. They chat and later became lovers, now they married for one year and she said she is happy. But not all will work. Internet love affairs success percentage is lower.
