I Agree. However, I'm Forced To Use Windows On A Public Computer At My College (Sucks). Macs, In My Opinion Are Pretty Easy To Manage For Those Computer Un-Savvy People. HOWEVER, I Do Know A Volnerability In The Debug Mode ("Single User Mode") That Allows People To Change The Admin Password Just By Entering A Simple Command.

Otherwise, It's All Good

Also, hackers may not find it worth their time to focus on Mac viruses, because not that many people use them. If they use a windows virus, they can affect the majority of computer users, but if they make a virus for mac, they wouldn't be able to affect as many people. They would be better off focusing their time on attacking a more popupar OS.

You can also do this in safe mode in XPs.

Viruses are a whole different spectrum...I consider those who make viruses to be despicable, because while hacking is all about knowledge, viruses are about destroying things. I completely agree with this, though, and it's probably one of the reasons why windows are so vulnerable: they're concentraded on more.

Because 90% of the users in the world use WIndows and the hackers wont be getting much by creating viruses for MAc's.
and btw mac is much better than windows in terms of security..

People don't bother to write viruses for Mac, as not enough people use it to make it worth the trouble and the risk involved.

I think a possible reason could be because MAC Operating system is Unix based and hence much more robust compared to Windows.
