I think today latest processor intel core2duo e6600 expecially is better than amd x2 , on dobel processor line offcourse, but since this intel processor is way to expensive than I should go for amd for it's more value for perfomance they give.

I'd vote for AMD been using it for years...
Not much problem till now... And the temperature is rather low on my 2.6 Ghz Sempron... |

Well, if you going to play games and need good performance - the best choise would be AMD, but if you want just to use PC without any availability for games or extreme programs - you should buy INTEL processor.

I have used Intel for a very long time ( 7 years) since the pentium II released, recently i discovered that AMD 's much better than Intel at perfomance/price at AMD 64 and Intel Pen IV. Then i'm going to be a AMD fan.
But now when Intel Released the Core Duo, AMD was losing, at the same price ( >200$) AMD lose but <200$, AMD win. I hope AMD will shine in the next generation. |
