In my opinion Intel is better than AMD as I have been using Intel for many years and its functions are upto my satisfaction.

AMD is a good processor when compared to cyrix but when you compare it to INtel.Definetely intel is taking it home.Internet is known for its high performance. And i also heard that AMD supports better grapphics than Intel.

I have right now an old K-6 type processor of AMD. I must tell that it's the most stabile CPU ever. Only AMD!

Intel is better, the Dual Core one... E6300 is very good and cheap, and it beats the hell out of a Intel 3.4 ghz

I prefer Intel, because I had bad experiences using AMD, it gets hot too fast. And intel core 2 duo is the best processor, so intel > amd !!!!

I've had a PC with an AMD Duron (850 mhz) for 3 years. Now I have a Pentium 4 at 3,1 GHz. I must say that comparing the AMD was working great for it's power, 800 mhz is extremely low these days but my AMD somwhoe managed to suit all my needs (even games). Of course my Pentium4 works great but thinking the difference isn't that big but the price is. AMD > Intel

AMD is better for graphics btw, so games, Intel is for general use
