This should be very usefull for me, after I got my new anti-virus prog my computer takes up to 5-10min to start.. But before I try this out, is there any other way getting it faster? I don't want to risk my computer.

that's a good thing. But you have to recognize that when a computer is turning on, it has to load all the files correctly. If we decrease the time value in the registry, that means you are giving the computer less time to perform the normal operation even though it would take more than 10 seconds. So I think this is not a good solution.
A better way to do this is to erase any startup programs that you have. This helps the computer load quickly. |
