If Visual Basic isn't a language, then what is it?

I have some little experience with VB, and I have to say, there is some coding you need to do to let it sometimes work . So from my part, it is a language .

Well, i've been in a vb class, nd its part visual and part of language, you need to know the scripting to make a nice program, all the visual is nothing without language so its 50% of each one.

I remember one incident of my school. Our project was to make anything with vb. I, that time, only knew the commands 'form1.hide, form2.show' kinda thing. But i made a nice alphabetical program for kids with images. My teacher praised me a lot. So, I have made a program with only 2 or 3 codes.

I do not only think it is a language it is in fact the best language when it comes to rapid application development and deployment. I have been studying Visual Basic .NET for the last 5 years and those who say like this are not only fools but just spammers. They post just to earn more points and money. Just like that. I really hate people when they speak such arrogantly.
