What is this virus?

Oneday, I saw a folder which was named same as it's parent folder. It's size was 44.3 kilobytes. I clicked on it and found myself at my documents with folder view in the left side. I also noticed that my 'Folder Option' from control panel and Tools menu is gone. Now, when i try to go to MSCONFIG or REGEDIT, the computer restarts. I cannot run any system tool. What is this virus? How can it be cleaned?

computer restrats may be two problems ones is may be system os got corrupted and reinstall or scan for virus if did not find any it may be a dangerous undected torjon reinstall your os

Try formatting the computer. And install windows. Dont you use NOD32?

Actually, at the moment I am the breavest man of the world! I have no antivirus installed. I had System Mechanic 6 with antivirus installed some days ago. But i deleted it, because it eats my 60 MB ram.

Hahahahahah......lol..................Use avira it kills my 8 mb ram.

i have to install an antivirus soo. I am having too many problems right now.

Well U can check with an online virus checker... Like safety.live.com or Symantec Virus.

I use McAfee but DO NOT GET 2007 it is very slow use 2006!

use mcafee antivirus..
it's really good
