So I thought to install the Alexa toolbar, thinking for some reason that helping my Alexa rankings for my various sites would be a good idea (for some reason).
Anyway, Google toolbar also installed... And nw a couple of times a really nasty bug has shown up because of running Alexa on top IE + Google Toolbar -> namely, sometimes when I close a window, suddenly IE windows will suddenly start opening ad infitinum (or so it appears). It's a bit like Mickey Mouse and the brooms - but with IE windows spontaneously appearing everywhere and you can't close them down. I actually had to shut down iexplore.exe to stop it. Either way, I think it's time to uninstall Alexa...
