Default Why subsites aren't good

Had plenty of time to check on our list of affiliate applicants lately and it was good to know that there was significant number of related sites. I approved some and declined some. From the set of sites that I approved, my attention was called because I approved these so-called "subsites." These are sites carrying the names of bigger and more popular sites just to have a good rank. As affiliates I found out that they don't give much effort in promoting products of the sites with which they are affiliated with.

What's wrong with these subsites? Don't they get reprimanded by those sites they carry as mask?
