Hello,
Do you have a backup copy for the data (files and folders) on your PC? I once lost about 2 GB of important data (which I did not have a backup for) and that was was a great loss for me and ever since then I always make backups! |

I never back up PC either. What I backup, is my web sites and files, which are on internet. I don't trust in host providers anymore, so I back up it on my pc, sometimes (1 time in month) i put the web site data in USB stick too to ensure.

I run vBulletin. I have a scrip running that backs up my data base daily to my server. I usually download the latest SQL file once a week or so & delete the older ones.
I dont bother with the files too much as my host does regular back ups as well. |

Actually I have one home pc and one office computer, I keep all the data in both the computers, in case I lose from one I can see from other. Besides that I keep the very important data in cds as well, so there is not one backup but two backups.

I always back up my data because my computer usually get broken most of the time. There was a time that I lost a lot of important data too and from there I have learned the importance of having back-ups.
