I would never use free hosting, at least not for anything important. I might use paid hosting for a joke site or something silly. The reason I stay away from free hosting is that it's tru what they say; you get what you pay for. The only free lunch is found in a mouse trap.

If you're not paying for the hosting, then the hosting company has no reason to offer you a good service. You're not their customer.

i use free hosting
i helped someone fix their site, so they gave me unlimited hosting.

but now i'm trying to host more on my laptop.

Well Months ago I thought that the best is try a paid hosting, a reliable paid hosting.
Recently I found 2 great free host, so I was changing my opinion about free host, but sudenly a "relyable free host" is down.

Now I wont try to host any site of mine using free host.

I used free hosting for 2 years but this year I shifted all my sites to paid hosting and the day from I shifted Uptimes have reached 100%!! And support and features offered are excellent!!!

You get free hosting you never know, nor do they care what happens or how often its up. Like i seen someone say "you get what you pay for"..
paid hosting does mean you have to reach for that lent in your pockets, but its well worth it IMO.

To tell the truth i have never had paid host , but i dont think it can be better than the current free host which i won at FXH ! Trust me its one of the best free hosts !
