Windows XP
Intel or AMD chip (At least P4 2.8ghz or AMD 3200+) 512 Ram (DDR 400 mhz) - 1gb would be much better for this day and age. ATI Radoen 9800 Pro (They dropped in price a lot, and are amazing cards) >80gb Hard drive, preferably Sata. I recomend not buying a prebuilt machine from Dell, Compaq, HP, those types of companies. You'll save alot of money if you buy it separately. |

![]() but yeah, buy the components and build the pc yourself. as frank said, it runs better and if you ever wanna upgrade you can do that with standard components without risking anything to explode

Stonko, I really want a G5 also. I might have some financial aid left over next semester which will go to one w00t!
Anders, I really think you should do what I did, take a chance and convert to mac. You will become a mac user for life after you make the leap! |
