I'm not using Vista at this time.

I ran it on a test PC at work, and so far it's not compatible with a few pieces of software our company build uses.

A few friends of mine, and I, are working to start an online professional company. When we setup office, we may get Vista as a standard for our build.

Here's the Wiki article related to it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Vista

It has some decent information regarding it.

I dislike it (at least the RC1 release) I have it installed on a different partition and I really do hate it. They basically took windows xp added a view visual effects that have no purpose other than to slow down your computer and want you to pay $200+ for it. The only reason i will get vista is because Xp doesnt support direct X 10.

How are you running the beta? How did you get it?

The Windows Vista looks really nice and I want to get it, except, I don't know where I can get a beta I think beta signups ended a while ago, which is sad...

Windows Vista, RC1, is still available to test publicly.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getr...dy/preview.mspx

Use the link above, download the ISO, and follow the installation instructions.

Wow! Thanks for the link! I think I'll try it out for a little while just to see how it is. I'm sure there will be a lot of bugs though...which I'm not looking forward to.

Any public test release will have bugs.

I just installed it on my personal "test" laptop, while at work.

So far, I'm not all that impressed. Just a few extra features, and graphical interface changes.
