In the process of setting up a meeting with an advertising firm for July, informal kind of meet and greet. They get to know us, we get to know them.
Unfortunately I don’t own anything remotely smart, being 18 and all. As it is informal .. Would the usual jeans and a t-shirt suffice? :P

Hm...first thoughts is that first imperssions count, so when you meet with them, it'll be a good idea to project a sense of your business by how you look. Even in informal meetings I'll wear a suit, because I want to convey a sense of professionalism, and my company will be judged by that. If I wore too casual an outfit, I might look less serious as a businessman or marketing gentleman, and my company image be therefore compromised for that.

Had this meeting today, didn’t wear a suits, put on the smartest stuff I had :P
Was ok, the guys at the company weren’t wearing suits so I wasn’t out of place. My first time also walking around central London etc. My ideal place to live I feel

They weren't wearing suits? If they were after your money - ahem, services - then I am rather surprised by that.

Started with a reseller account, that was £50/month. Made back the money needed to pay for that, things grew and grew, we expanded accordingly into new areas. Eventually with our own racks, servers and so on.

Well Done. Did you design the site yourself or have a pro?
At what age were you when you signed up for the resellers account? (P.S) sorry, if I'm asking to many q's, I'm intrigued. Last edited by S.Craddock; 05-08-2004 at 05:52 PM. |
