Recommended web hosts?

I'm not really sure where the most appropriate place to put this is, but it could work in here.

This could be a general resource for recommended web hosts that people approve of, but primarily I am really just looking for a new web host and was wondering if anyone could suggest one!

I'm currently with Incognitonetworks.com - previously I was with MechHosting.com which was great, but they got bought my Incognito, which wasn't great!

I've got 2GB space 20GB bandwidth which is probably sufficient - certainly is at the moment, but for some reason Incognito won't allow overselling at all (I've got a reseller account) so it's too frustrating trying to add domains and create accounts, and trying to reallocate bandwidth etc.

So I definitely need overselling allowed on a reseller account, with around 2GB/20GB restrictions overall.

Reasonably cheap if possible although support and general service, uptime etc is more important.

I can highly reccomend the services provided by the friendly guys over at k1z.

They offer great customer service, and with any queries I have had I have a genuine reply within the hour. Best of all the servers are UK based, meaning faster access all round!

They also manage 2host, there sites can be found here:

Silverlime.ca have been great - used them for over a year now, no problems and hardley any downtime. Great support too.

I'd go as far as saying they are the best host I used.

Cheers, I'd forgotten about Silverlime - was looking at them ages ago, so I'll have a proper look into them now.

Silverlime.ca looks like a good host, nice price and so but how the speed toxic?

I visit Namepros often and even though I have no personal experience of them, PolurNET have some really postive reviews there. www.polurnet.com

Might be worth taking a look.
