It Looks to me like someone is scared that the otherside is having their say for once. How sad are you coming on here and slagging companies off because you don't read the contract first. ' i run this forum so what i say here is right' GROW UP! Creditsafe and Marketsafe can't have a say here because you ban them the minute they sign up!! when you people want to view your opinions why don't you go to
w w w w . ukbusinessforum . co . uk where every view is fair and answered!!! Have Fun with a very poor forum. And if thats your picture may i suggest some Oil of olay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If Marketsafe/Creditsafe employees want to pretend to be satisfied clients, that is simply deceptive marketing and reflects very poorly on the safe group of companies.
In the meantime, if you wish to you continue to damage your employer's reputation on UKBF, be my guest.

btw, while I'd agree that everyone should read contracts, but on the other hand, just because something is in a contract doesn't necessarily make it legal, much less ethical. ::edit:: Also, if you read through the thread, other Creditsafe/Marketsafe employees have posted before and been treated fairly and politely. |

Brian Turner : Business delinquent, tell that to the 40,000 + Companies that renew ( without problems) every year and now places us NO1 in the uk for customer Numbers. Dispite what you views of us are, we provide much up to date and Comprehensive Info than any other provider in the Uk. Every Company has complaints, I bet you've had more than us due to you arrogant attitude. But we deal with them and make sure that we do our best to Compensate.
Your just mad because they didn't ask you to be the alien in Independance Day. Oh and would you like me to send you a questionaire so you can give us your views like normal people? Regards |

Regardless of how good a company think they are, or how unfair and unwarranted the criticism they receive, it's worth bearing in mind that: i) potential customers will be reading your comments and will form an opinion of you from them. ii) what you say in Internet forums is, for all intents and purposes, forever, and will likely still be there to embarass you when you come to retire. iii) although you might not think these issues important, your boss might think differently. |

Of course, if they complain in public, they can be threatened with legal action to shut them up. While you enjoy those tantrums, remember you were the one who attempted to mislead people reading this thread in the first place, by trying to insinuate you were a satisfied customer. So if being caught for being deceptive annoys you, that's probably how your bosses are likely to react when they find an employee of Marketsafe acting in this manner. And trust me, they do read this forum. I have legal notices from the Safe Group that makes this very clear. In case they need to identify you, here is your original registered email address: laurence.stachow@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks for all the info about Marketsafe.
I have spoken to one of the customer representatives today who told me that she had been trying to contact me since before Christmas about renewing my account. I told her that I didn't want to renew, at which point she informed me that automatic renewal had been ordered for 20 February and that as I was outside of the 30 day cancellation period, I wouldn't be able to cancel for this year. I had an at length heated discussion with her, pointing out that as it is 25 January, and only 3 days past this period, that morally they should accept my cancellation (which I did via email and as yet await a reply) for 20 February. I was originally sold the product by Adam and like many of the other posts here, wasn't informed about the automatic renewal clause, the delete all your data clause etc and I suspect like many others, I didn't read the terms electronic or in the welcome pack they say they sent. After the heated argument, I was put on hold whilst being transfered to another rep to see if there was anything that could be done. This second lady tried to make me an offer to have the database use for another year, but at this point I dug my heals in and said I want to cancel, she informed me I couldn't until next year now. Persisting that I wanted to cancel, she asked if I would be prepared to delete all contacts purchased from them, I said I would, but then she continued with the line that I couldn't cancel for this year. From all the posts here, it would seem that I am not going to be successful and will end up either having to pay or be taken to court, is it a real case of "buyer beware" and any legal procedings by Marketsafe will be upheld? |
