find old domain names in particular property or finance related that I could buy. I've hear that this could be a good strategy in promoting my business as they could already have "page rank" etc etc....
What do you think of this as an idea? |

Google search: [keyword] "domain for sale"
or [keyword] "this domain is for sale" and roundabouts. Trouble is, as usual, the low hanging fruit have gone. Additionally, a lot of what I see for sale is worthless - yes, an old domain, but no cache in Google or sometimes even a history in archive.org, which tells me using these domains are effectively going to be treated as brand new in Google, which defeats the point of buying them in the first place. Property and finance? Geez, best of luck!
