Hey all, First i'd like to say great forum, wish i'd found it a year ago though as i've ansered more questions in half hour than in 12 months of setting up!
Ok we have an e-commerce website which is under construction and we're looking to use SecPay as our payment gateway based on recomendations as well as our current and prospective volume of sales. Having no first hand experience with the service i'm keen to pick someone's brains about it! - What is the functionality like in relation to how your website has evolved? - Our customer base consists of UK and European buyers both end user and other business. Can you format the check out to calculate different rates of VAT per country where applicable? - And finally can you pre-set delivery charges based on location, weight, dimensions etc of the item to be delivered? Many Thanks! |

If you're looking for an alternate option for payment processors in UK/EU, you may wish to check with; multicards, chronopay, ogone, protx, worldpay, for more detail list of payment processor you can also refer electronic payment data;

Afraid I've no experience with Sec Pay, but Paypal is usually pretty simple to integrate into shopping carts, with reasonable rates, too. I'm also about to drop Worldpay - too pricey and awkward - and move to Protx with a Bank of Scotland merchant account as well.

Yeah PayPal is the most famous and reliable method of payment. 1 thing you should consider when you choice your method, since all things have a loyalty from customer, in use of well known reliable method would make your site become more convince

Paypal operates a very draconian account freezing or limiting policy that can strike any merchant at any time. When they say "limited" they mean that you cannot send, receive or transfer any funds at all. It can literally stop your account dead and many traders have found it almost impossible to recover their funds once they have been frozen. Their delaying tactics in dealing with any appeals are legendary. Personally I would rather deal with the Monopoly Man than PayPal.

Overall I have had good experience with PayPal.
On the actual question I don't know any quickie tips in making money online. All I know requires hard work and commitment, but you can sleep well knowing that you are really adding value to the community in general
