Default Seo

Hi all,

I have recently set up HR Service company (InSpirit HR Services) and I would some advice on how I can make myself more present on Search engines. I am in the process of utlising free advertsing to develop my presence and I want to continue down this path rather than spending a fortune on advertsing.

Any advice?

Thanks

Mandeep

Make sure your website is as Search Engine friendly as possible.

Unique content
Unique META data for every page
Good internal link structure
As many relevant backlinks as you can get!

Do all this and keep adding your website to the free directories and you'll start to rank well. It doesn't happen overnight, be patient and persistent, it'll happen for you.

HR and Recruitment are very competitive. Therefore, try picking off low hanging fruit to start with i.e. niche / targeted keywords to start with.
Leads from such keywords generally convert quicker also.

Quite right - there's no point desperately trying to get found for "HR" would be a challenge for a company with £10K a month to dedicate to SEO - go for some longer tailed keywords "construction recruitment services in humberside" for example (provided you offer these services in this area!) it's less competitive and more targeted...

But look at your SEO as if you were carrying out an online public relations campaign - get some good articles out there which are relevant and themed to what you do and get them published on third party sites with links back to your site...

The basics will then be in place and don't give in - SEO takes longer than you'd think!

It may be an idea to start with a Paid Search campaign at a nominal budget to get traffic to your site whilst the Search Engines are learning to be more favourable to your site - and then reducing it once you're ranking in the SERPs (search Engine Results Pages)...

Hope that helps...
