Google Reader + Facebook?

Robert Scoble publishes a seriously interesting comment about mixing up Facebook with Google Reader:

Can you imagine that? A mass audience of people simply via syndicated feeds, without anyone ever touching a search engine or other big ISP?

I'm normally be cynical, but I think Scoble's onto something here - the potential is *huge*.
