Bloody Chinese spammers
Took the server down by sending a huge number of requests to the directory search function - IP blocks via htaccess and firewall didn't work, so I've had to remove the search function of the directory for the moment.
Will have to get a custom CAPTCHA on the directory search function ASAP.

Hi Brian,
Did you manage to resolve this problem? I understand that some Captcha's are stronger than others. As a thought, would there be any way to 'throttle' the directory to stop it being flooded by Chinese IP's? |
