Long tails are the way to go in many industries, ours (personal injury lawyers) is a prime example. If you have an accident in Tesco I doubt you will go and look for 'personal injury lawyer' on Google, instead you will search for something like 'supermarket accident claim' or something similar. We lost a fortune on Adwords chasing generic phrases, now we have hundreds of longtails, as a result the cost per click is much lower and the quality of leads is higher! Look at that, didn't even mention my blog...lol |

![]() Nice to see you follow over from UKBF - and good to hear about the long tail - I think the point you underline is that it's seriously important to target keywords that searchers may be using.
