Hi All
I hope a few people may be able to give me some advice, I work full time and so pay tax and NI, from my job. However I have some sideline websites that I earn money from, mainly adsense and various other advertisers. Recently my earnings have increased quite a bit and so far I have not paid any tax or declared them. I am getting worried that I may get into trouble, so am looking for info on what to do ? Is there a limit on how much you need to earn before paying tax ? or would this not count because I earn over this on my normal day job ? Should I try and get an account to help me out, as I am told there are quite a few thing I can claim back expenses for ? Could someone give me an indicatiuon of how much an accountant would cost ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks Marx |

Definitely the IR will need you to declare your earnings, and if you're working then I believe your income tax liability will simply be added to your current earnings for the tax calculation.
Hopefully Joy or someone else with accounting qualifications can help clarify things better for you, though. ADDED: Oh, and welcome to Platinax.
