Default Google Universal

Google are making a big change - Google 2.0: Google Universal:

It's only migrating across Google.com at present, but is bound to crash Google UK very soon.

The question is how much will users get out of it - and how much of a problem it'll prove for SEO's.

Those are both excellent questions as they relate to Google.com proper, and it should not take too long for some answers to beginto materialize. My question is that I do wonder how long it will take for it to begin impacting the Google family outside Google.com? And will there be any tweaking before it gets that far?

Google warned month's ago about this. It is intended to shake people out. But for every action is a reaction. They keep making better locks for a reason.

For those marketers who are dedicated to details the changes will probably mean little. For the rest of us it means incorporating more on a site to even get 1 hit from a search.

I envision websites bloated with video clips, pictures, and keyword rich content that are impossible to view by those with slower internet connections.
