Dear Friends,
I am supposed to submit a research proposal in marketing management as a requirement to the completion of my graduate program. Since my area of interest is celebrity marketing I have chosen the topic “COMPARING ADVERTISEMENT EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPLOYING A CELEBRITY AND A FAMILIAR OBJECT LIKE DOG, PANDA, CAT Etc.”. Although the topic has fascinated me I don’t know how to proceed with it. Kindly give me details regarding the type of research possible with regarding to the topic I have chosen, methodology which can be used, how and where to gather information etc. What are the ways by which the research can be made meaningful to draw up valid conclusions? Please help. Thanks in advance. sam |

You are really going to have to do some research on this - you might find the info is actually most accessible from fan sites, and then research for the details on business sites.
How could are you are using the internet for research? Google is a good friend for searching most of the time.

The hypothesis is really in the title - or easily extrapolated from it. The problem is finding a real set of examples to work with. That's why I'm suggesting a little research on the internet first - you could always try to approach companies directly for some direct information from them. For example, there are a number listed on a search for "celebtrity marketing":
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Cel...=Google+Search Is that of any help at all??
