You mean when connecting the handset to the PC? That's shocking but just shows how major manufacturers are still failing to support Vista with their software.

As an aside, I'm quite liking Nokia Maps 2.0.

There was (as possibly still is) a small compatibility issue with Nokia PC Suite and Vista after a Microshaft update... It doesn't effect the phone and you can still transfer files and install software etc by using the handset in Data Transfer mode (not PC suite mode)

Anyway - the new Nokia N96 is due out later this year, I've had my hands on one and it's basically a N95 in a sexy black dress http://www.nokia-n95.net/hot-news/it-had-to-happen-someday-nokia-announce-the-successor-to-the-2.html

Yeah, I saw the N96 announced a few months ago but I wasn't that impressed with what it had to offer over the N95 8GB.

I don't use the dual slider for media (well not yet anyway, I've not transferred any videos over).
The only benefit for me would be the increased storage, although I'd have issues if I filled up the 8GB I have with anything other than music/video content - neither of which I plan on doing to any great extent.

The N96 looks sexier and from what I can see the numeric keys aren't as recessed as the N95's.

If Apple had given the iPhone MMS support, I'd have an iPhone on my desk right now.
