Hello members
I figured it would be interesting for people to say what sites have changed, and what the PR went to. Currently my sites are all new, so I'm last in line for the update, but I'll post results when I get them . Anybody make out good? Thanks

I really really wouldn't worry about PR. I have difficulty seeing any correlation between Google PR and site ranking and authority.

Brian you are right PR does't mean a thing. I use to think it mean something. Once you start getting lots of traffic to your site. You will be converting more sales on your site.

I have noticed a tricky matter about google page rank. I noticed at some blogs while posting comments, comments page is showing high page rank , but after posting, the main page is showing PR 0. Can anyone tell me the reason behind it?

Perhaps it is taking the blogger's PR, instead of the normal (subdomain) PR. It happens all the time with my blogger. |

Do not bother about PR. It is just a kind of web fashion madness that is not so important as it used to be 1-2 years ago.
Create web site useful for people and you will get your visitors regardless what the PR is. |

PR really seems to hold little relevance these days.
I've been PR3 for months now and am still seeing month on month increases in my ranking and hits with all the engines, particularly Google.

While actual ranking importance of PR seems to be less relevant, there are two areas where you can use PR to your advantage. The first one is link exchange - you will have a hard time exchanging links with a related site that has PR6, for example, if your site is a PR2 - many webmasters still look at PR to determine who they will link to. The other area where you can use PR is when you are selling a website. A PR5 website with 10,000 monthly unique visitors will sell for a lot more than a PR1 website with 10,000 unique visitors!

PR is useful if you offer paid advertising services, for example a directory. If a paid directory has a PR of 6 it will generate more income than a directory with a PR of 2
