I have just skim read Brian's action plan for Christmas and it made me feel so inefficient until I went back to the top and read that it was a plan for next Christmas. I then thought about it a bit more and realised that in times past when I've been almost inefficient i.e. sans kids I've abandoned it all and jetted off to the alps and gone snowboarding.
It made me wonder what other business owners plan to do over Xmas to get their business straight and what the top 10 tasks might be:

Yep, my Xmas action plan:
http://www.platinax.co.uk/blog/101-x...-for-business/ is precisely because I've found Christmas just rushes by, with myself so stuck in other projects I don't feel I have time to grab a Christmas promo on the fly with no planning. Hence preparing for next Christmas. ![]() At the moment, though, I'm focusing on family time, and also getting all the book keeping fully up to date. I've also been doing a lot of stepping back from the computer and thinking harder about what I actually want to achieve, and writing up new strategies for developing and expanding my online presence in key areas I want to develop for the long-term.

It's funny because I was just developing a personal plan for next Christmas focusing on making sure I can get everything I want done.
As for my business, I'm getting ready to make my marketing plan for 2007. |
