I've just set up an adsense account.
I'm not sure if I'm correct in saying this, but did adsense work on page impressions as well as click through? Is there any other alternative for advertising revenue? |

Nice to see you back.
![]() AdSense provides stats on page impressions, and ordinarily you just get paid for clicks. However, sometimes an advertiser can use site selection to specifically target your website for their Adwords program - in which case, you get paid on a page impressions basis. Hope that helps.

I believe banners mainly work on pay-per-impression basis (but not all the time).
You can also insert google search and if someone searches from your site and clicks on a sponsored ad you earn, and you can also refer people to the google products (picasa, adwords, adsense, pack etc.) |

There is certainly something in adsense that says they pay for the impressions generated, something around the tune of one dollar per 1000 impressions. Earning through click throughs is much easier though...
alternative for advertising revenue.. yahoo publisher network, though not as famous as google adsense, is also a good choice... |

Ain't MSN suppose to be doing something on the same lines as Adsense?
