I will visit a link on the merit of the link itself - if it is something that I seem to be interested in or looking for, I'll give it a click. I don't usually take into account the quality of the post or if it is someone that I know from the forum.

At the end of October, I posted one and the same pool “Do you visit the links in the forum members' signature?” to 5 different forums.

Although, the pools will close at the beginning of February, I thought you might be interested in the results collected so far.

Hence, I publish the 5 URLs to the 5 different web sites that host forums with this pool.

For your convenience, the results collected so far shows that most people visit the signatures quite often 45%. Another 23% use the forum signatures only when the post is useful and there are about 19% doing that only once or twice the first time when they read something from the signature owner. The rest 13% rarely visit any signature link.

I agree with Triumph , it has to catches my eyes especially if its about promoting my biz.. Hey am just curious!
