Was eating some pasta tonight - mushroom ravioli from Tescos - very last bite tasted of toothpaste. No mistaking it - certinly lingered a darn long time. What was toothpaste doing in the ravioli anyway? More to the point, how did it get there? Someone spit it out in the factory? Yuk.
Still, could be worse - had a splinter of wood in a quiche from there - but the classic was a dead snail in a tin of peas. Maybe I should start shopping at Morrisons again.

Reminds me of the chickens head once found in chicken mcnuggats. If you ever visited a food production factory you would probably never eat again.

I try to eat as little processed food as possible.
![]() I learned a long time ago that where people are paid minimum wage, the output quality is never going to be great. And some of the stories about food production - oh, I agree.

I found a dead bird in some dried dog food once.
