It's been a general mantra that Firefox is more secure than IE - but it seems that now it's been shown that the entire way Firefox handles Javascript will need to be completely recoded because the current system is flawed:

I could be wrong, but I've read that they found this to be false (I'll try look for the article I read). Personally I love using FireFox, especialy because of the tabs, but it has trouble opening pdf files and the movie clips from bbc news.

![]() What's really annoying is when I open up multiple browser windows (my normal way of surfing, actually - got 11 open at present, 2 Firefox and 9 IE) and then when Adobe crashes, all of the Firefox windows get shut down. Annoying.
