The Classifieds section has always flirted with being a spam bin, but that's not really what I'd like to see that section of the site become.
With that in mind, I've now limited the Classifieds section, so that only members with 15 posts or more can start - or reply to - threads in the Classifieds section. Hopefully this means that the Classifieds section will be a much more useful resource for companies and other members here, and have a better quality level of postings.

Good idea, unfortunately many forums these days seem to turn into just a long list of adverts. Many advertisers seem not to realise the long term benefits of being a participating member of the community in terms of building trust in you and your company.

That's another reason why I wanted to set limits - so that it provides extra value for existing members in terms of advertising.
