.ltd.uk domains

I've only just stumbled across this... Has anyone got any experience of using it?
I am thinking that *MAYBE* because of the strict rules of registering a ltd.uk domain name (the company must be registered at companies house + you can only use your EXACT company name) then Google etc may treat these domains more seriously than any other normal .co.uk ?????
Or there again.... They may just be another waste of time

Don't recall coming across .ltd.uk at all - I didn't even know they existed!

Where on earth do you register them?

ukreg.com register .ltd.uk & .plc.uk domains.

123-reg.co.uk will allow you to transfer these to them but not register them

I'm just curious as to there value - seeing as Google is said to value say .gov site's and links from them because they can only be registered by government bodies then does this apply for .ltd.uk and .plc.uk domains?
You have to be a legit company to register one so in THEORY they are worth more in terms of relevance than a normal .co.uk (or even .com!)

I don't honestly know if Google will value the .ltd.uk domain especially - still, worth a try I guess.
