Default 70s music

So I after Christmas I went shopping on Amazon for 70's music compilations, and they all came through today...

Sheer groovy fun for an otherwise tense day.

There's something almost hopeful and optimistic in the music though, which I find interesting. Maybe I've been too long listening to Radiohead.

Actually, now I've listened to them, most of the content on the CDs was crap.

But I'll burn the best to PC and make my own compilation CD from them.

Good idea, I have always found 70's music to be abashed with crappy music. Best to give that decade a miss and stick to the 50's,60's,80,90's and the new millennium.

I just got the 'James Blunt' album which is wicked and an 'Echo & Bunny' album for sheer nostalgia.

I can imagine that you had a 'music-shock' when listening to 70's music, after Radiohead!!
James Blunt is great!!!

Let's face it, anything seems hopeful after listening to too much radiohead. Can't say I am the greatest fan of James Blunt and certainly can't take him seriously after listening to Tom Gleeson's parody.

70s music can be two entirely different animals. 80s music is something I like purely for the nostalgia value.

We need more disco and party tunes like the 70's and 80's. This is what this country is lacking now a days. A good old fashioned knees up to crappy disco music while under the influence of alcohol...lol

Now go forth Brain and put on those Travolta trousers, shake that stuff...lol

As a product of the 70s, I enjoyed the music. I also like the hair bands of the 80s as well.
