I think you can find your good and bad music out of each decade. I like Abba. They are a hoot.

I've found lots of new music retro nad modern from listening to 'Last fm'- nice to listen to while you are working online too!

I grew up in the Seventies, but always enjoy sixties music much more. I found it to be more original and creative than the stuff that was out and about after around 1973 or so. And yes, I was college age when disco hit, so I had my own three piece disco outfit. But it never did give me the same thrill that listening to the Beatles, the Stones, the Mamas and the Papas, and Janis Joplin did, nor did it give me a sense of cultural awareness like listening to Joan Baez and Janis Ian did.
