Dell online pricing error
Dell is the latest in a string of retailers to fall foul of online pricing errors.
In December 2003 the Dell website inadvertently advertised their Dell Dimensions PC as available for 111.61 Euros (£78) - instead of the intended 1,116 Euroes (£780). Allegedly, hundreds of orders were placed, but were not confirmed by the company - and in doing so, was apparently in breach of its own terms and conditions. Expect us to bring you more on this story - but don;t be surprised if we have to wait to see it resolved through the courts.
