Default Solving the Sandbox?

Dave Naylor - a real bigshot in SEO - provides some interesting advice on breaking out from the Google Sandbox:

http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/...?threadid=9137

Quote:
ok get an old domain, something which google crawls, then put a subdomain on it ... newsite.olddomain.com original and copy the site exactly on the sub as it is in the orginal date last modifed to a few months after the domain was first registered ... yer i know that makes all the content look really really old ... lol

Ok add a Link from the real site something like www .newsite.com ( forget about seo anchor text links, these are just to let google in.. now 301 the subdomain to the new site ..

Thankfully, I don't really understand any of these stuff. Otherwise would have spent hours reading these articles by these so called experts. When I was working in the City of London, one of things I was taught:

"If you see a bandwagon then it is already too late to jump on it"

I am sure all of the webmasters would have seen this on various tech forums and the search engine programmers would have already started working on a fix.

Ciao,

I don't doubt it.

One of the interesting things about SEO, though, is that traditionally these sort of holes can remain open long enough to shoot profit through.

Dave Naylor is a very smart guy, though - he is one of a small set of SEO's who is always worth listening closely to.

The main thing with the sandbox is that Google want to push traffic to their AdWords. Although their motto is "Don't be Evil" I suspect that they are driven like most companies to make money. For your new business to be seen the only way at the moment is to get Adwords. I find it very annoying as I launched a site 5 months ago and its nowhere in the Google listings yet
