so everything at last in place, have decided who is going to setup and register the company - if you look at previous....old post you know who..
- but i am still having issues on how to find an accountant for the needed company accountancy issues and any other issues involved with a LTD company -filing reports with the tax authority and/or any other govermential parties- not to mention any advice that can be given. As you might know and explained i am located overseas thus there is another issue as well.... i have been to professional forums populated with persons and/or companies who offer their services... made a shortlist of some of them who seem to be ok.... but still have doubts... Can anyone assist? how can i find/hire the right one? Ps i know that i will need to have some meetings and i have planed accordingly in order to do so. |

I recomend a fellow forum member Joy (forum name Joyous). I have seen her giving good advice to people here and two other forums I frequent on accountancy and tax matters.
Good luck with your venture. Regards,

I'd certainly recommend you talk to her as well:
http://www.platinax.co.uk/forum/members/joyous.html I don't know much about her or her services, but I can't think of any reason not to contact her. Do appreciate that she's in the really busy part of the year for accountants at the moment as well, in case you don;t get an immediate reply to any questions.

thanks!!!! i know its the busiest season now... and for greece as well (for companies), but this is one of the most crucial things of my action plan to take care and due to other issues (looks the post regarding indian programmers) didnt pay very good attention.
i will contact the person you told me and see how it goes. may i ask how you verify an accountant how good and/or bad is? meaning what associates doesnt he/she needs to be in (all of them or some of them...etc) and how can someone verify their -good standing- record? |

I think like any business it's going to be an issue of reputation and recommendations - Joy I believe is a regular member of Peter's Teneric forums, so she's already up for public scrutiny. She seems friendly and professional, but there's no saying where she'll be at in a few months or years. Then again, business is always about taking risks.
