What does this business do? If it has nothing to do with Platinum, and isn't relevant to the dictionary to me it doesn't mean anything. But that is my 2 cents, what do I know.
Pepsi = Pop and they made it with their brand. |

I kind of agree with Callsign, however Platinax does remind me of Platinum which gives the overall impression of quality, wealth and professionalism.

I kinda like the name, and with the site layout also a bit platinumish, it all fits in pretty well..
![]() Platinum to some people means wealth, business, and thats exactly what this forum is all about, if i am not wrong

It was indeed the idea of Platinum - also tried to get something techie in there, like *nix - Platinix. But that was long gone as a domain. Then I thought of the NACS datacenter and - hey! - Platinax...
I'm told by a good business friend that I was trying to be too clever, and should have used real words combined in an odd manner - ie, Blue Fish. But...it's already launched, and I guess it's simply a case of making the brand known and stregthened.

Hi Brian
I think the name Platinax is sound enough. The 'problem' I think is the strapline "for entrepreneurs". The two combined makes it sound like it's a brand name for some kind of stomach upset/laxative medicine. Maybe it's just me though... ? |
