Default Downtime

Apologies for the downtime - had some issues with MySQL on the server, but everything is fixed now and should so now.

Hell, the SQL on the server seems royally screwed today. Not much fun. Will see how things develop.

It sounds like you need somewhere else to host Platinax

Seriously though - SQL should not be getting "screwed up" like that! Is is possible the update in software has caused the problem?

BTW Brian - Do you ever read your PM's?

Turned out there was a problem with one of the drives - it appears to be fixed, now, but it's been a horrible couple of days.

Apologies for not replying to the earlier PM - there were server issues throughout the day I had to attend to those - I'm just hoping all is fixed now.

I guess moving Platinax from the US to UK couldn't possibly be as disruptive...

Have you settled on a UK provider yet Brian?

Yep - it was always going to be Clook on the grounds of my prior experience of them - the sticking point was the type of server and management services. Looks like that's settled, and I'll be signing for a Dual Xeon to host three of my sites with large forums.

I haven't settled on domains to use for your reseller account - I'm going to get those registered later today - I'd had myself some self-pitying, chocolate, and now it's time to get back to work.
