Currently I'm restructuring/rebuilding the entire Platinax site, and also looking into a few ideas to develop.

So this is a perfect time to tell me what you want, and what you would like to see at Platinax.

Members benefits - we could all sign up to a scheme which enables us to have discount on other member services.

So Britecorp could offer 10% discount on SEO and vitalproductsolutions could offer 10% on legal services for example.

Sounds good to me - although i would like to see access to this page limited to users with xx posts or something like that (if possible)? Just so that people do not join just to get discounts and nothing else

Now that sounds like a great idea... kind've a co-operative...

Membership could be limited by activity, say the amount of posts per month... anyone with over x posts per month has membership for that month... (I was originally gonna say year,but you'd have to wait a year before getting the post stats then).

Monthly membership might also get around the potential problem of somebody being active for a month or two and then disappearing.

To be honest, some degree of co-operative lead generation has been one of my plans for some time - a lot of people here are in specific niches, whether it's SEO, business plans, direct sales, logo design, website design, factoring, company formation, information technology, webhosting, etc, and I think it's possible to offer a range of services direct to visitors without there being too much competition where there is an overlap of services among members.

It would probably be a good idea to solicit businesses represented here if they would like to offer exclusive offers for Platinax members (and I mean exclusive!).

I dont know how hard this would be to set up but I have an idea about a conference room. Members could book the room and run presentations or training courses online. I have seen many sites using "walk-through" demo software.
