Default forum pace

Hi

I don't often visit this forum as I forget it, but when I do I have found more interesting relevant and useful posts compared to lots of business forums.

So why even though the content is good that this forum is slower paced than others around?

Well my view of this site is it has a Blog/news, articles, and directory and so provides a wider range of features so it's not just based on the forum like other sites. Also one reason could be a lack of targeted traffic, I'd say the Google sandbox is to blame, also not listed in Yahoo at present so maybe age is the issue here. However don't let the forum activity mislead you, I can see platinax being one of the top business site / forums on the net one day. Just a matter of time.

Platinax is still a very young and developing site, and yet to establish itself in the mainstream. It's only just 6 months old, so it's yet to build up a name and reputation for itself. As it does, it's general visibility will increase- but it's always had to be a long-term project with long-term goals, and it will get there soon enough.

I'm on vacation.

I'm also in the middle of buying a new home, which hasn't been built yet.

So, I haven't had much time to visit this forum, but I will return in a few weeks.

PS: I've been trying to read "The Martian Chronicles" but I find it over-rated. There are some excellent short stories in the book, but the rest is either over-blown poetry or dated rants. Maybe I'll write a review when I get back.

I was wondering where you were, Roy - good to hear from you, and hope everything goes fine with the move - had a few problems myself last month:

Yes, moving can be a hassle, but I must say that's an exhaustive list of things that can go wrong with wireless systems.

I haven't gone wireless yet, but I think when I'm finally moved into my new condo, I'll get into that - because I don't like a lot of cables all over the place.
