Use Skype to Harass Spammers

Here's a hot one! You can use Skype Internet Telephony service to frustrate spammers! If the spammer leaves a phone number in his message, just continue calling it, for a very low rate, on Skype. You can block up his phone line, talk to him personally, or do anything you want, if you have the time.

OK! I just dialed this number: +234-1-4346860.

This is the email I was answering:

This is to inform you that the outcome of your contract payment verification came our satisfactorily. Your name and details corresponds with what we have in our payment system. Your payment is ready and will be made to you via a classified bank draft. I want you to know that your draft payment value US$25M is ready and will be delivered to your confidential mailingaddress as stated below:6422 NE 60th St.Seattle, WA 98115.

The conversation went something like this:

Hello?
Is this Nigeria?
Yes.
Well, my name is Steve and I need some money.
Steve Who?
Steve Jones. You sent me an email, remember?
Oh, yes.
Well, I need some money, and---
What is your address. I need to confirm it.
You have my address. You sent me the email, remember?
But I need to confirm that you are the person I sent the email to.
Why?
You must also send me a check for $550 before I can send you anything.
Why?
That is the payment for delivery charges.

The biggest laugh was listening to this guy's explanation of how I could write a check for $25 million dollars if I paid him $550.
