Apparently if you install Microsoft's beta anti-spyware software and it damages your PC, Microsoft will pay you $5 in damages.

If they're so sure of their product, they should put their money where their mouth is. With $5 compensation, I've no reason to switch to their anti-spyware software when the ones I already use are tried and tested.

Don't bother. I tried it and its crap.

Webroot is the best anti-spyware.
