Default Domain Squatter, what can I do?

One of websites is creativeborn.com, and I was too cheap to buy creativeborn.co.uk at the time, now I wish I had. Someone has clearly bought creativeborn.co.uk to squat, around the time my hits were going up on the site and I'de like to contact them to sort it out. But when you do a 'who is' query I cant get any more info.

Im really grumpy about this (mostly at myself) is there anything I can do?

Not a lot you can do really, perhaps try a DRS (details on the Nominet site) but this is expensive.

There's presently nothing on the .uk site so DRS may prove an expensive failure.

Try the ISP, see if they can pass on your email address, the domain owner may get in touch.

I don't recognise the guy's name as one of the domaining regulars.

Unless you can prove wrongdoing or trademark infringement (in which case DRS is the way forward), then best bet is to offer the present owner a few hundred for it once you get hold of them.

You really need to have a registered trademark to contest a domain ownership.

It's a common business move to copy / piggyback on someone else's success, frustrating, but part of life.
